    It's Contagious

Must be a bug..... I bought my first FJR (2009) without even test riding one. Just sat on one and that was enough for me.

    2015 Front Turn "Non-signals"

The first time I saw my Gen3 front turn signals I remember thinking they appeared weak. But this was standing tall right up front the bike. As I back away from the bike and looked at them from another motorist's point of view, they look bright and perfectly fine to me. You said that you looked...

    2015 Front Turn "Non-signals"

So the question is, are your turn signals weaker than the other FJRs because your bike has an issue ? Or are you just thinking that yours seem weak based on past experience ?

    2015 Front Turn "Non-signals"

Depends on the viewing angle. Stand away from the bike and have another look.

    2010 enigine cutting out

What is your idle rpm when the bike is hot ? You should be around 1100 rpm. Did you check to see if the battery terminals are on nice and snug ? A loose connection will cause your bike to run bad.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Actually that picture doesn't do the setup justice because I cleaned it up since then. I removed all fuses inline to have the PDM60 manage everything and I tie-wrapped the wires in a better bundle. I made the aluminum bracket to hold the PDM in the tail section of the bike. If you need info...

What did you do to your FJR today?

So, since last year, I added a PDM60, a Garmin 2797 GPS, a heated vest connector, a Yamaha Touring windshield, Clearwater Darlas and I threw together a tire kit for those just-in-case flats (CyclePump air compressor, tire plugs). When the wife asks how much does it all cost, I just ask her how...

What did you do to your FJR today?

I really like my PDM60 for just this reason. No more fuses to burn and carry around.

The bolt and spacer came with the kit from Clearwater. The correct bolt and spacer are in the bag with the fender brackets and NOT with the control and little L bracket. The one with the control is not the correct size so just leave it aside. Yes I did use the upper bolt location on the...

The yello wire is the headlight high beam (if you hit the high beam button, the Darlas come on full power).... the green and blue is the trigger wire (turns on the Darlas when the motorcycle headlights come on)..... For power I wired the positive wire to my PDM60 and the black wire to the...

As promised, here are some photos from my install. I will try to do this right.... The relay you need is the one indicated with the arrow. This is on the left side of the bike (left side when you are sitting on the bike). The relay is hooked on a rubber piece which has a slot in it...

I mounted them on the forks (with the supplied brackets from Clearwater. I just have to transfer the photos to the computer from the cellphone. I should have them on here by tomorrow evening. Really happy with the final result.
