Took delivery of my 05 in April and just crossed 2,000 miles -- far far too few miles on this great ride. Will ride a bit all winter (Virginia Beach climate always gives us some decent days) and vow to spend less time at work and on the golf course in 06, and more time atop this blazing blue...

At the risk of sounding uninformed (ie; stupid....and still a "FNG"...) if you can ride once a week (or at least every other week) during winter, even if just for 15 minutes, is it still a good idea (or necessary) to have a charger?? :( Thanks, Jay

Just did a 600 mile two-day ride and adjusted them to 40/40. Felt great at that number. Usually check them once a week --- went beyond that once and the front had dropped to 28 or so. :o Now I try and make an effort to check them frequently. Cause, you never know ...

Full coverage Shoei at all times. Virgina requires helmets -- but would wear it 100% of time regardless. Ocassionally put it on after a few too many cocktails on the back porch as well.... :D Jay

Well, we tried. Left Virgina Beach on Friday morning and headed to Skyline Drive ( in heavy mist and wet roads) only to get there and find 2 feet visibility due to heavy fog -- have to take alternate route which was ok. Next day no change -- entire Blue Ridge Parkway covered with fog...
