I just brought home my first FJR!! Took a quick 45 mile shake down run thru some nice backroads and arrived home with that FJR grin I have heard about. This bike is going to be lots of fun, I know this cuz I aint stoopid. What a torque monster of a motor, like a big block muscle car with grunt...

Anyone using one of these? Like it?

With the Motoman method, is oil AND filter changed at 20 miles or just the oil? I would think you could leave the filter alone.

I have an 5 year old AGV Xvent, most impressive part is the face shield which is very tough, still clear after many miles and bug scrubbings. It is rather noisey, very comfy on my melon and the Rossi graphics still look great. No intercom experience, not yet.

Has anyone tried to fit a 'fenda extenda' to the 06? Will the 05 version work?

Absolutely superb race, Moto GP is off and running, second race according to me.... Valentino had great ride coming up from a start that had him at about 6th in the first turn, he had to put his head down because...... Leading into the first corner and running away with the first bunch of laps...

Bill, congrats sir, this is good news! I am waiting for my FJR to arrive at Libbys in New Haven....which dealer did you go thru? Let me know if you would like to get together for a ride this season, always looking for a guide to new roads or happy to show off a few of my favorites. Any photos yet?

What about the bag liners, did they come with the US bikes for 06?

Another Connecticut waiter here, I am number 3 on the list at Libbys in New Haven. The owner there has told me he expects the first two bikes by the end of this week......of course he can not commit to any specific date, Yamamama is a secretive wench.

It looks like he turned the rear cylinder around and has a single carb with (very)custom manifold.......
