    Is winter over yet?

    I've been riding to work for the last few weeks but we have had snow here the last two days. feels like winter is never going to end.

    Is winter over yet?

    I'm doing quite a bit of dirt biking with my son but hoping to put a few more miles on the FJR this year. Hopefully I can make a few SE Ohio trips too.

    Is winter over yet?

    No that's OHFJR's recording of our group. I haven't been able to get to the mountians nearly as much as I want to over the past couple of years. Hope to change that in 2011. ;)

    FJRF003.1: Ignition Switch

    It did have the yellow tape around the wires. Rumor has it that other models are affected by the same problem. I don’t think Yamaha is finished with this issue either.

    FJRF003.1: Ignition Switch

    No indication of an issue with S6 spyder. New ignition switch is installed & no sign of the problem. My dealer was sending the bad switch back to Yamaha, kinda doubt that we will hear anything further from them on what the actual failure was.

    FJRF003.1: Ignition Switch

    Thanks Brodie, I will be sure to check S6 as well. It has been a week of riding with the ignition switch bypassed & no sign of the problem. My dealer has talked with Yamaha on the issue & they are replacing the switch again under warranty. I'll keep you posted. Tom

    FJRF003.1: Ignition Switch

    Thanks for the feedback guys. I did read up on the grounding issue & did look closely at the spyder, in fact took it apart & found no corrosion or signs of the connector ever being hot. Like I stated above I have bypassed my ignition switch & no longer have the problem. So I think I maybe the...

    FJRF003.1: Ignition Switch

    Sorry if this is a dumb question or in the wrong place but I don't have time to read all the pages related to ignition switch failures. How many of us have had failures of ignition switches that were replaced under the recall? I have an 06 w/41,000 miles, never had a problem with the original...

    SE Ohio ride August 4th

    Not sure why I forgot this but as of last Friday rt 536 was marked as closed for repair. We ran it on 7-23 around 9am & rode past the "Road Closed" sign & were able to get through. They were repairing the road & replacing some guardrail, some equipment was in the road but nobody was around.

    Indianapolis MotoGP 2010

    Yep. Don't buy tickets for the stands. Buy an infield ticket the night of the race & then find a way to "blend" into the pit area where you might just see something really cool like this;
