I did the ferry from NS to the mainland back then after coming in from PEI to NS. It was a relaxing few hours that day to then start heading S through New England. My upcoming trip will alos include the ferry which apparently now is a modern hydrofoil style ship, vs the old one.

Plans are in the works for later this year, Aug/Sep. I've done all do NS and PEI, Newfoundland is on the radar. I'm curious about the ferry ride from Florida - to NS? Never heard of that one.

I had to replace my R mirror due or damage form a tight squeeze. Matte Blue cost me $125 after much, much searching, got lucky! The mirror will probably be the least of the costs, unless there's other damage underneath. The fairings is where it will get expensive....

I have an XT and it seems t have all the bells and whistles i can think of. The pairing with Bluetooth works well, unlike.thatbof the 550 which was erratic.
