The 06 model "A" bags have arrived!!

The waiter baiters are just jealous. They know deep in thier dark little hearts that we waiters will soon be in possesion of a vastly superior motorcycle to that low tech, ticking, nut searing, wind buffeting excuse of a cycle they sit upon!! :P :D :D :D

    Mileagae jump!

I almost always get higher MPG with a passenger, out of respect for them I refrain from riding like a ****. Solo riding is more often conducted in attack mode, low MPG is one sign of a good ride!

Gonna Change my FJR '06 Order

Yeah, go buy a real motorcycle. Lilac hue with auto tranny....that is sooo gay. Real bikes are blue and have a clutch you operate with your fist. What would the Harley men say when you pull up on a lilac hue auto tranny......girlie man. The above is meant to be stupid, and it is.

    Buddy Belt?

TWN, I think we are talking about two different types. The one Im looking at is just a pair of loops fixed to a belt which the passenger grabs, not the gizmo that straps rider and pillion together. I agree, if I find myself flying thru the air with the greatest of ease I would rather not have...

    Buddy Belt?

Anybody tried one of these? Its a belt with loops for your passenger to hang on to. Im thinking my wife might like one when I grab a fat handful o throttle and unicycle on down the road with her. hehehe!!

    AutoX, any others here?

PC, looks like you got bit by the AX bug pretty bad! Nice website you have there. The local scene here is seasonal, gives me a chance to farkle the Miata. Just added a Torsen diff this winter, cant wait to have at it this spring. What year is that airhead in your avatar? Seems we have those in...

Axedude, Im just outside New Haven CT waiting for my 06A to show up. I'll tag along sometime. Where does the ferry land?

    AutoX, any others here?

Anybody here into AutoX? My wife and I bought a Miata 7 years ago to play in the sun with, turns out it was my first 'race car' too. Without a doubt this is the most fun Ive ever had in a car and recommend anyone with a 'need for speed' to look into the local AX scene. You will find some really...

    Cape Breton Festival of Speed

Yes, 15 is a better route thru the area, parallel to I-95 but a bit north. Im located just north of New Haven and prefer to avoid the SW corner of our state when on the bike. No real pleasure to be found there. Should you need dealer support we have Libby's Yamaha in New Haven, phone (203)...

    Cape Breton Festival of Speed

Word of caution, if you pass thru CT you will want to AVOID I-95 from NY line to NEW HAVEN, this is a seriously ugly stretch of *** fault.

    K@N Aircleaner

When I first installed K&N pods on my Bandit I fouled the plugs real nice from over oiling the filters. Too much oil, no good. The aeresol spray oil is easier to apply in a nice even manner. YMMV

    Linked ABS

Hellyeah!! My mistake, the front brake lever is not linked to the rear calipers! After rereading Yamahas brochure I see that only the rear brake pedal operates in linked manner. Sorry Constant Mesh, and thanks for opening my eyes to that.
