I have the IMS 4 gallon tank on my DRZ and I am getting 225 miles out of it. What tanks are you looking at? As for tires I just put a Dunlop D606 on the back and a Pirelli XCHM up front. I have 550 Baja miles on the tires so far with some street and they are hooking up pretty good in the loose...

Now go look at your rims and swingarm. I did ACH a few weeks ago and there was a strech of newly oiled pavement. It took me 3 hours of scrubbing to get that oil off my bike :angry:

I found a 3.9 gallon IMS tank for my DRZ on Ebay for 100 bucks. I can easily go 180-200 miles. It's not pretty but it does its job and protects my radiators. I had to fork out 250 for the 3 gallon tank for my wifes KLX. Haven't tested the range yet but I'm hoping for at least 150 miles.
