I asked the same question. Some of the other sockets show the square drive but I cannot discern the drive size.

Were the throttle bodies really different? How about the 11-12? I thought that only the pulley profile changed and maybe the fuel map.

I put on the G2 awhile ago. Its not bad but I'm thinking about the PC V and am wondering about the fuel map. I need to do the valve adjust and was going to put in the pair block off plates so I figured as long as I'm in there maybe I could swap out the throttle cam on the intake.

Has anyone just replaced the cam on the throttle body with one from a 2012? I was thinking that the Yamaha engineers may have finally got it right in the last year of the gen II in 2012.
