I have looked around and it looks like it is possible to put a gen 1 shock on a gen 2 but the difficulty of doing so is not explained. Has anyone done this? If so how hard is it? Thanks -worney

Why not use a wired system? No batteries at all. Just hard wire it to the bike. worney

In my opinion in Canada I would do the 2 to Cardston, 5 to Waterton, 6 to Pincher Creek, 3 to 22, to 532, to 40 then up to the Trans Canada to Banff. Just watch out for wildlife on 40, moose and Big Horn Sheep especially. Worney

I believe that you have to drill some holes to make it fit a Gen 1? Sorry, that is for the rack obviously. (oops)

I have done this and would not recommend it for gen II. There isn't enough room in the nose. I have to force the panels in order to reassemble. Not the best . -worney
