Thanks guys ! Oil is change, will not start the bike before end of april :(

Why is some people are saying DO NOT start the bike during the storage ? I always did, tinking it was better that way... The bike is in a heated garage for the winter, do you think I should start it or not ?

I normally change the oil before the new season, bike stays in storage for winter from November till May. I am using Mobil 5010 ( half synthetic ) oil. Isn't it better to replace the oil & the filter before the cold season ? This way the motor will have the oil additive during the winter ?

Finally got an answer from Bridgestone Canada for my BT021 with only 5000 km on, and finish ! Not miles but km ! :angry2: They are saying the same thing, problem is cause by pressure in the tire :huh: If you search the net, you will see that a lot of guys complaining about this tire...

I never bring the bike for maintenance ;) Do everything by myself, this way I am sure it is done properly ! ;) The only thing that tey still do, is replace the tire on the rim !

I am using it for manyyears now, in the bike, generator, snow blower and never had a problem. I followed the instruction and doble the dose for long periode. Using my generator only when I have a power failure, once every 3 years, and it always start.... Good for me !

+ 1 with this set up, works great ! Do not use the glue that comes it it, had to replace it after 2 or 3 times that I used the heat on the grips. I glued them with Epoxy, after 2 years, still ok. I think I will have fun if ever I have to remove them :) :)

The rider seat is 1'' taller than stock, more conformtable that way. I am closer to the tank because I am 34'' inseam too. and I ask him to do a stopper in the front of both passenger and driver seat, so when I stopped I am not push in the front anymore. The guy could do almost anything, if...
