    Dented Ignition at Biker Bar

I rode my V92 for 4+ years and heard this Jap crap from the Hardley group all the time. I would always think when these dumb ***** open their mouth was "what hole did this ****** come out of". It always amazes me that these so called dedicated American made Rubs have no problem jumping in...

    Weird Front Tire Phenom

It's funny I just took a worn Avon off in which I had no problems with and was really happy with. I then replaced it with a new Avon and I'm now currently experiencing the same thing as you descriped above. Since tires are so damn expensive with little life, I'm also going to live with until...

    Two awesome Map/GPS apps

I like how you can easily re-route with Bing, hopefully it will maintain that route when uploading it to the Garmin. Other than that it doesn't seem to show the difference between a paved or dirt road.

    Move Your Money

Wow In Georgia I stop counting the banks after I hit #60. That's a lot of banks that may be in trouble just in my state alone.

LOVE my FJR but thinking of adding some "Adventure"

Great bike, it's more like the super bike of the big DS. :yahoo: She weighs in around 460 lbs dry. Knowing what I know now I would buy the 950 (carb version) instead because KTM FI still needs a lot of tuning (can be real jumpy at low speeds). Other than that the bike can pretty much handle...

Help with Gen 2 front brake caliper

Admin I originally started this question within this thread:Brake Pad replacements thread and I do apologize for double posting this. I should of started it here to begin with. I was about to install a set of EBC on my Gen 2. I found out after removing the olds pads that I was sent the wrong...

    Brake Pad replacements

Thanks so much for looking! The good thing is that I'm not totally losing my mind   However I just ordered those 4 clips plus that slider pin and I'm now wondering what in world I will be getting. I also checked other Yamaha part sites and they all have this same diagram.

    Brake Pad replacements

Hi Scott, These pins are actually threaded and require I believe 20 Nm (I'm guessing I don't have the manual in front of me) of torque when installed.

    Brake Pad replacements

Question: I'm about to install a set of EBC on my Gen 2. I was originally sent the wrong pads and as I reinstalled the old pads I managed to strip one of the slider pins heads (yes I was being lazy and didn't feel like getting my smaller torque wrench out, blah blah :dribble: ) Anyway I went...

LOVE my FJR but thinking of adding some "Adventure"

No One, I really can't give you much advice since you do have experience riding in the dirt. When I purchased my big orange Gurl I had no dirt experience. Now knowing a little more, IMO the key to a good DS is that it's light weight, especially if you plan on doing a lot of off road...

How will a drop of 80-100 pounds affect FJR handling?

Hi Shiney, I wish you the best of luck to my Copper Canyon Amigo (see Don I'm trying to learn the Mexican spanish language). Just be sure to go to the best doctor that you or your insurance can afford. Keep us informed!

    Greetings from Florida, *******!!!

Wfooshee, I'm with you my FL brother.. It was a bit cold here in GA this morning too. In fact it got down to 27 degrees. It really sucked because to compensate I had to turn up my heated gear a bit. Oh and it was madness, because I really couldn't do my first curve that...
