Add another vote for moisture. Maybe a small amount of dry gas to see what happens. If the bike sat for any amount of time without a full tank, and if the right conditions permit, condensation could very well have formed and collected somewhere in the system.

I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret.....please keep it just between us, okay? There are these things called "race tracks"......sometimes you can ride a motorcycle on them.......free from endangering others and I hear there's plenty of open tarmac to get your jollies out on.

You might be confusing said "races" with the Loudon Classic (which runs around the time of Laconia Bike Week). This is a CCS event that's held on a number of weekends during the summer months. Last LRRS race weekend of this year is Sept 27th and 28th. Keep it in mind.
