Truck wont start after fill up?

That same thing happens with Toyota trucks and was told not to fill the tank up to the very top.

    Airbox ?

Still – it’s noise emissions that will get into the pockets of a manufacture for many years beyond the end of the factory warrantee. The noise that is muffled from the intake allows things to make racket that are more difficult/expensive to fix. I understand that large improvements in power or...

    Airbox ?

I have made poor choices with air boxes in the past as well, and learned my lesson. What has changed with current bikes is fuel injection and EPA noise control. Small changes in air volume are compensated for and I enjoy hearing that big inline 4’s intake song. I just make sure whatever I do...

    Airbox ?

My "guess" is that cover is more about sound control.

New forward peg solution (Gen 2)

From that big crate of old bike parts - I have no idea what bike they were for. Yes - this is where the aftermarket sliders usually mount. The only reason I would want sliders would be for a tip-over (not moving). These mounts are sturdy enough to hold the bike up if it tipped over in the...

New forward peg solution (Gen 2)

Going on week 6 with the ’06 and have put on just over 4,000 miles. Not bad considering it sat over a week waiting for tires and an air cleaner when I got it home. I ordered forward peg plates from Garauld and am very pleased with that experience. A few weeks ago I saw someone had a used set of...

    Spongy rear brake

The one thing I heard in the original post is that you have recently installed new tires. If you had that done for you or if you did this yourself, make sure all is well with the calipers. Whenever something on my bike (or car/truck) suddenly changes, I think of the last thing done to it.

Heated Grips Issue plus another question

I recently installed these HotGrips and the variable controller and could not be happier with the performance. This last weekend I rode up to the north side of Lake Huron for a color tour and in high 40’s, low 50’s there were times the grips were just about too hot – just what I wanted. The nice...

    Deer warning whistle

I live in an area where there are many (many) deer - commuted 35 miles to work and back through the thick of it. This was for seven years and mostly on the afternoon shift, leaving for home at midnight, I’ve had more experience dealing with “Swamp Donkey’s” than most. Deer whistles are just as...

One Accident - Two Totalled FJRs

One thing I like to mention whenever riding with others is - Of all the things out here that can hurt you, it's most likely going to be someone you're riding with. Glad to hear the bikes were the only things to perish.
