well… 12,319 miles later, I’ve completed the ride. Pretty demanding and nicely rewarding ride. Some high points: Neah Bay, WA, Outerbanks, NC. Low points were New England 1000. (Rained the whole ride) New Orleans roads, New York roads at night in the pouring rain…

I’m only on day 2 of planning. When I get to Day 9 I will have to decide if I want to give up the Maine ride. It won’t take much to modify my ideas. I won’t be riding with a fuel cell, so receipts will be a natural.

If successful, this will be my 18th 10/10ths. Instead of the New England SS1k, I will attempt a Maine in state SS1k. I have been to all but 2 of the checkpoints. Washington in state SS1k will be interesting too.
