    Cruise Control Not Working

wfooshee, I agree that the load should not be flowing through the coil, however doing it the way you suggest did not allow the CCS to engage, even though I was getting 0V on the yellow wire. In my diagram, when the brakes are applied, current flows from the yellow wire into both the auxiliary...

    Cruise Control Not Working

Apologies for the delay in putting up my fix, but I had to take some time to make a suitable wiring diagram to share with the masses. Don't wanna give you guys just any old crap you know. Initial testing proves it works fine on short rides. I have a longer ride planned today which will give...

    Cruise Control Not Working

Davy, I have had the same wig-wag modulator installed. As soon as I rewired the brake lights back to stock, the CC started working. (I have an idea for a fix, which I will post when I get it working). Pete

    Cruise Control Not Working

Make sure you have 0Volts on the purple wire to the brake light otherwise CC will not engage. I spent a considerable time last weekend with the identical issue you are having, and it turns out my brake light modulator doesn't play well with the Audiovox unit, even though it shows 0V on the...

    Gen I ignition switch failure

Eat your heart out MacGuyver. Sorry about the boring Band-Aid Dan, I'll get you some nicer ones for the Nova Scotia trip. Reason I carry a First Aid kit, (as should everyone else!), is that during last year's Sport Touring at it's Finest Ride, the group I was riding with were the first to...

    Autocom Cable #1298 wanted

Looking for Autocom part #1298 - Garmin 2820 GPS cable. TopGear Accessories is no longer the US distributor for Autocom, and have directed me to the manufacturer, who do not list in in their online store, and have not responded to my emails. Would greatly appreciate anyone willing to sell...

How long to install an Audio Vox CC

The installation really wasn't that bad, it was all the other crap that seemed to go along with it that caused my frustration. Since I had read about every available thread on this and many other forums, I knew it wasn't going to be as easy as changing a bulb, but it was within my capabilities...

    MC Covers

Haven't tried the Nelson Rigg, but my Dowco Guardian Traveller has seen a few months of daily use in all weathers, and so far is holding up just fine. Size XL works with sidebags, Givi V46 and V-Stream windshield.

Cell Phone, TomTom Rider 2, and Nolan N-Com

Having had the Rider2 paired with both my cellphone and my Autocom via bluetooth, it all worked flawlessly, without any popping, dropped connections, or missed directions. Have you tried testing the GPS/cellphone setup with the Scala rider headset, which should have come with the GPS? If...

Need to change my gloves, wich one should I buy ?

Another Joe Rocket Phoenix owner here, although don't plan on doing any crash testing. Roadgear "Boss" are my winter gloves. Not too bulky, and with the heated grips, are plenty warm enough down to about 20 degrees. Waterproofing has held up well. I likey.
