The only drawback not mentioned here is that the wife is pushed forward quite a bit more than with the Premier backrest. Which also pushes me forward more, it was great with the Premier. It also makes it harder for her to hang on to the hand holds. Now to find a good way to move it back a inch...

Gerbings have a battery pack glove which would be perfect since I hate the idea of wires...but they don't recommend them for MC. Now if they could be persuaded to make a leather battery pack glove!!! So the quest continues. Cary

Stay at the Ridge Tahoe ..at the top of the hill overlooking Tahoe and the Carson Valley..Nevada. A great place is Wallies in Genoa Nv...about 30 min from the lake , has a great set of hot pools!!! Cary

I ended up with a extra mount and steel plate...I have it in the for sale section if anyone tired of waiting. Cary

I just picked up a new box from flea bay...box, mount, upgrade package and backrest for $400 delivered!!! Took all of 60 seconds to install the steel plate and another 5 min to mount the backrest pad and the box itself. My advice is get it from the dealer and do it yourself. Cary

I did the spring as soon as I got the bike..also did a G2 as soon as it became available. Maybe a new sync as previously mentioned will help and bar that a dyno tune might help. I didn't know that we could play with the ballance shafts and that they are adjustable ...got to learn more about...

The bike vibrates at all rpms just the frequency increases as does the rpm's. I did the engine mounts all left then right...thats what took the 4 hours...PLASTIC :dribble: 2nd time would be much easer. Total waste of time nothing has helped except the first sync ...a little and the grip...

After reading every post on how to diminish the buzz in the handlebars..right side being xxxx as bad ! I took every step..to not much effect! I pulled the panels to loosen all engine bolts and tightened all per spec and posts, installed a PIII with Wallies map, std and modded ones ...no change...
