    -CLOSED- Heli Tour Performance GB

Hi Bull, Let me check with Heli to make sure that they allow the Canadian/European version. I know, I know... it shouldn't matter but let me make sure. - I talked to Heli and there's no problem with Euro version being included. great news Chris - thanks - Bull

    Bad Ground

That's what I'm having a problem with. First sentence. ahhh...... I thought you had one of the older Kisan tailblazer units - the little black boxes that were typically spliced into the electrics under the tail section. My mistake.

    Bad Ground

I don't know if you'd want to go to the trouble and expense - but Kisan has a neat little plug-and-play tailblazer for the FJR - that removes the need for any splicing of boxes. They're spendy = but I've had them on my last two bikes with no problems. For me especially - simple is gooder.

    -CLOSED- Heli Tour Performance GB

ahhhhh........... why not? add me to the list please. (you can't take it with you....) I would need to scoop the Canuckian version since the ignition modules are different up here North of the border. I believe the US version isn't compatible with the Canadian Feejers, so the...

    Why not black?

What I'm saying is that the color doesn't make any difference. Whether or not you are happy with your bike won't have anything to do with the color. I completely agree - well said that Geezer

    Electrosport dual filament HID kits

Personally - I can't talk to life-span yet for the Osrams (having used Phillips mainly in the past) - but I can vouch for the speed of order turn-a-round from PowerBulbs.com - I placed an order late last night and received the shipping confirmation note this morning. Damn close to the speed of...

    Electrosport dual filament HID kits

It is my suspicion that these very latest halogen from Osram is likely to be "The ****" for those who are staying with halogen technology: Osram "Night Breaker" H4 halogen bulbs from Powerbulbs.com These are supposedly the very best you can get in halogen technology today. Not cheap; the...

    Electrosport dual filament HID kits

Hi Warchild - I appreciate your input and all the research you've done trying to get a good HID set-up. If a rider didn't want to go to additional lighting, what would you recommend for the best H4 lamp for the feej? What would you say about the 60/55 silverstars for example? OCFJR - I also...

    Where's the flasher relay??

I've put these on other bikes - but not the FJR. If the spot on the FJR is pretty shielded from weather, then that would be good enough. If you think there's a chance that moisture might get to the signal-minder, then I'd recommend additional water proofing. I found them to be very sensitive...

Using a cinder block to prop up your bike

I know you'll probably perform the work indoors, but just in case.... I wouldn't leave the bike on the block - on the grass. (since it might compress the soil then topple) probably advice not needed - but you never know!

    Brackets for aux lights

More like $300 each. Bloody Nora - 300 each side? ouch!

    Brackets for aux lights

I have a suggestion that might reduce the complexity of building 'tip over clearance' into the overall design equation. I'd say, if you've already got your feejer going for a slide on its side, you've got a lot more to worry about than a 100 dollar aux light. (ducking)
