    Clutch Gone 13,400 miles

I'm hopeing your correct. I talked with the dealership owner just a little while ago. He said he's been with Yamaha for 40 years and will defend them. I guess they must take care of their dealers anyway. We will see how Yamaha takes care of it's customers. If they do stand behind us, I will post...

    Clutch Gone 13,400 miles

I haven't talked with the head mechanic face to face yet. I will call them later and find out if they have talked with Yamaha as they said they would. I'm not a patient person and expect answers one way or the other soon. If I don't get anywhere with the mechanic and I believe I will, then I'll...

    Clutch Gone 13,400 miles

Got the ignition recall work performed at my local dealer last week and on the ride home I went to pass a car and noticed the clutch was slipping. The dealer I had left was already closed so I returned the next morning before they opened. The head mechanic pulled in shortly after I arrived and...

    Wayne (ExtremeMarine) and Annette Update

Good news, good news. Glad you and yours are getting better. This is my first post since your wreck. Lots of people wishing you the best. I didn't want to sound like I was jumping on the bandwagon until I had something important to say. Not that I didn't wish you and your Wife the best, I didn't...

    Deer Rifles

45/70 is the fun caliber. But they are all good. Use a 300WM for Elk and Moose, and 243 for deer, 45/70 will work on all of them.

    FJR cornering capabilities

Sone real great setting suggestions in the tech section. Before I upgraded to the Penske, I made the adjustments suggested on this site and it made one heck of a difference.

    Morning Pictures

In the long series of pictures from my deck and or hot tub. A beautuful, cool morning after a previous day of rain. Fog laying in the valley looks like a big lake from the ridge. Enjoy. Don

    Two Brothers

Yes sir, I have pictures. It's not that loud. My Wife's only comment was when we were behind a some other motorcycles that were going slow up the mountain. The bike was under a throttle load and the range of rpm made it sound a little louder. But going down the road at highway speeds...I hardly...

Has anyone added this piece to their TB exhaust? I couldn't find any talk of it with a search. Just wondering if it makes a difference in the sound. TB website says 2-3 Db's difference. I'm happy with the sound, I just think the gold anodized tips would look sweet. Anyone have any experience...

Three thumbs up for Cee Bailey

I need to be educated. I read the treads about the benifits of aftermarket windscreens. I may be "old school" but I enjoy the days that are warm enough to leave the windscreen in the lowered position. Wind noise is part of MC riding and I don't get enought helmet movement from the air to bother...
