That got right by me! Problem solved. Don, I remember that thread that you linked to. I'll have to look at the video later again because its not loading fast enough on my 10 year old Etch-A-Sketch computer at the moment. :glare: Highlander, thanks for the offer! I'll make sure to post up...

Trip Planning And Need Some Suggestions

I'm flexible with the schedule so early Sept sounds better to me. I already made plans for EOM so I might as well just take the whole month off. I found this on the SFO website. Travel Agency   The Airport Travel Agency is a full service travel agency offering travel reservations...

Trip Planning And Need Some Suggestions

Michelle and I are planning a train/motorcycle trip in late August, early September of 2011. The plan is to fly out to Chicago and jump on the Amtrak Zephyr which would then take us to San Francisco. After a couple of days of playing tourist in SF we want to rent a bike and head down the PCH...

    Helmet strike

Glad you are OK Don! I've hit birds with a glancing blow before but never dead on. I just missed getting a turkey in the chest a couple of weeks back as a flock of them were flying across the road. I can only imagine that would have resulted in some very serious injury.

    How's YOUR day goin'?

Holy Mackeral! Did the pipe freeze and burst? Sorry for your misfortune. Hopefully your homeowners insurance will cover any damage to the bike. With any luck the sheetrock was waterlogged enough not to have caused much damage to the bike.

    Flight of the Bustanut's

All this talk of sheep and not a single mention of the kids graduation?!? I thought for sure someone would post up a pic of the new Marine and his Dad.

    I'm a proud dad

Congratulations to your son for his achievement and to you for raising such a man....

    Meet Tugger

Let's see.....10 gallon temporary tank/4mpg=a shorter walk home than when the bike breaks down.

    Meet Tugger

Coincidentally, one of the seller's friends was an FJR guy. I don't think he frequents the forum though. Driving a tugger certainly has to be better than driving a stroker...I'm going to be outfitting it with some USMC stenciling and then I'm going to go out terrorizing all the Lambo, Ferrari...

    Meet Tugger

My brother Martin (HAVOCDOG) and I traveled to upstate NY yesterday to pick up my new truck. Its a 1953 M37 Dodge Power Wagon. It used to be an Air Force vehicle back in the day and then was owned by a Navajo guy 25 years ago or so who named it TUGGER because he used it to haul out vehicles...

8th annual 'Ride to the Rock'

2Bull, it truly pains me to think that this R2TR group is going to be the representative first slice of the FJR Riders pie that you will be ingesting. You may want to drink heavily before you show up. It should be good fun and a great chance to meet some new people!

The Continuing Saga of "Trauma Tyler" ;)

Tyler, your grace is an inspiration to me.

    Strokes, recovery and my fjr.

    Valor has no boundaries;

"Run to the Guns" It's not just a phrase written on the back of a t-shirt... Congratulations to these Marines for doing the right thing. Thanks for that Mike.

Poll: Gaging Interest in FJR-NERDS '11

It certainly was entertainment watching my brother knocking down bushes with that beemer of his when he took a corner to hot. I'm just hoping my '06 doesn't self destruct before next August. I'll let you know after the "Ride to the Rock".

Poll: Gaging Interest in FJR-NERDS '11

Will this be an FJR only event? :) P.S.- I think you may have to put "no preference" as an option in the last question since it didn't accept my submission without an answer.
