So I need the saddlebag lock catch thingy

Oh, no worries, the begging will be forthcoming, if I can't find mine :) I have no doubt someone probably has one that doesn't need it, and hopefully I have enough good Karma left ;) I'll know when I get home this evening and complete the search.

So I need the saddlebag lock catch thingy

I'm thinking I have about a 30% chance of having it. I may have already given it to someone else years ago, which would be unfortunate.

So I need the saddlebag lock catch thingy

Yeah, I found were I can buy a complete 3 lock set for like $80. To swap out the locks on both side bags, and the yamaha trunk. Those locks 'appear' to have the lever that I need. I didn't lose the core so I only really need the $2.00 lever :/ That said, I'm going to rummage through my box...

So I need the saddlebag lock catch thingy

So uhm, yeah. 2006 FJR, when I arrived at Rally HQ for the mason dixon I put my key in the saddlebag and the lock came out with the key. So those two stupid screws that are in the FAQ that you should locktite, well I still lost em, and the locking thing a-ma-bob. i still have the lock, so...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

That's basically what I want. I ran the rally with iPhone for tunes and phone calls paired as the 'phone', GPS as a multipoint device and it worked just fine. That said, when I was streaming music from the phone. My riding buddy could NOT establish an intercom call. He'd push the button and...

I need a new LED torch (flashlight) - opinions?

Not sure what you mean, like roll off the table? All of the ones I have, have a pocket clip or something on them that that makes them 'anti-roll'. Their larger lights like the Maelstroms, have dimples and stuff on the outer parts that I think make them less likely to roll. But I'm not an...

I need a new LED torch (flashlight) - opinions?

https://www.foursevens.com/products/flashlights/ Similar to the Fenix lights, they have some HUGE high output and rechargeable lights as well. -MD

I think you may very well be right. With good ear-buds, I can get adequate volume but I couldn't with speakers. But now that I've reset it (both hard) and Factory software reset, I need to roll back to a helmet with speakers and see if that is improved. Right now I'm good with the current...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

I tried those, and have small ears/canals and they were a little bit much. I'm considering 'shortening them'. Westone is sending me a new 'fit kit' because the kit that came with mine, well, the foam ones were dried out/dry rotted. I guess that's what you get when you order from Amazon...

    Intermittent Ignition Switch

Here you go... $30 and about a half a six-pack worth of work and you're done. https://bit.ly/15OEqUL

    Intermittent Ignition Switch

Original switch? Really it's drop dead easy to replace. The documents for the recall switch replacement are online somewhere, step by step. Now you just need to find a switch. May or may not get to keep the same key, depends on how you do it. With the recall switch, I was able to separate...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

OK... After working with Sena, I did a reset (paperclip in the hole in the back) and factory reset. Repaired everything and the Zumo seems much much happier. The ones I made here these: https://www.earfuze.com/ but, I also picked up a pair of Westone's UM2's which are really nice if I can...

I just made my 'custom earbuds'. There isn't time to get westone's, although I have custom shooting earplugs from westone that are sub-optimal so I'm skeptical. I am using these: I will play around with pairing and phone calls again tomorrow. To and from work. We can compare notes...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

Mountain, I do not understand this, with Garmin 2.9, this was a bigger issue, less so with 2.8. But in my scenario, the ONLY way I get acceptable music quality, is to pair the Zumo 665 with the Sena as a phone, using the only phone profile that Sena has or allows. I have paired my phone...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

OK Zumo 2.8 works mo betta. That said, phone audio with my iphone is still iffy. Sometimes it works sometimes the audio is just ****** up. No other way to describe it. Seems hit or miss. I think the first phone call after pairing is good, after that it's a coin toss. Doesn't seem to...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

Josh/Others. I just downgraded my 665 firmware from the recently released 2.9 to 2.8. Others have complained about phone integration as well. I'll know more after the commute home. if this helps, great, if not I'll probably have to ****-can this approach and go back to what I know works for...

    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

If you were to pair your 550 with the Sena as a "Phone" instead of 'multi-point' pairing the music quality would increase significantly. Not the volume but the music would. I have used in-ear monitors in the past, but that's one more thing for me to connect. I'm trying not to go that route...
