Took a while but it finally caught up

WOW! Glad you're okay. Most everything is salvageable it's a matter of how much you want to put into it. The low side is mostly cosmetic, but when it flipped over it could have done more severe damage to the frame, etc. And it's usually cosmetics that are so expensive and why many insurance...

    Hi all.

You mean to tell me you've had an FJR since April 2008. Joined the forum July 2024, then finally did your obligatory introduction post two months later? That's a huge forum faux pas! That's worthy of a huge old school dog pile! Alas, I don't think they do that anymore. At least you're here...

    Scotch or Bourbon?

I'm not a tequila drinker, but... When someone has a real good tequila, I like it! It's pretty good, but go easy. I rarely drink it though, but I greatly appreciate it.

Knifemaker, great resurrection of this thread. Not much has changed in my opinions, except... Holy Smokes (pun intended)! McCallan's is now $85 a 750ml. I can't afford to drink it any more. I was buying at $47 dollars a 750 and complaining years ago. Buffalo Trace still my go to Bourbon. I...

I know but what FUN! I had an old 1976 Kawasaki H1 500 triple 2-stroke. With expansion chambers! And I had another 1977 H1 parts bike. It was hoot talking to folks that remembered that bike, but what a sled. That frame flexed more than a Gumby doll. But on the pipe it was fun. Enjoy the forum.
