    Possibly Adding a KLR650

I have an '08 KLR, and as others have said, good stable mate for the FJR. Not great at anything but good enough at most things. Griff

    FJR1300 Adventure series 1.

I think that's the 516 between Cartwright and the junction with 510 to Goose Bay. About 90 kms (55 miles) of marbles. Griff

    FJR1300 Adventure series 1.

Since I'm the guy on the KLR, I can say with absolute certainty that it has EVERYTHING to do with the rider! The KLR is a better bike than it shows with me at the controls. That being said, the FJRs have performed remarkably well, and now that we've hit pavement it turns out the TKC80 is a...

Mother of All Mexico Dirt Bike Rides - March in 2015!

    FJRF008: Cam Chain Tensioner Survey

You're probably right about the chain Ray... but it's not a ton of dough and I'll be in there anyway. Parts are ordered, will get to it after I get back from Labrador on the KLR. Griff

The Wife's Opinion of the Natchez Trace

We did the Trace a few years ago on our cross-continent tour. In a lot of ways it's like the BRP: scenic, lotsa history, and slow. We enjoyed it for what it was, but were also happy to get off and over to NC and the mountains for some more interesting motorcycle roads. Griff

2014 Rumours... CFR on 'da rock' ?

I've got a reservation on the midnight boat on the Wednesday. I'll be on the KLR and doing the TransLab afterwards and then home via Northern Quebec etc... should be in Halifax around the 11th. Griff
