I have two PR2s waiting for me at the local shop. One that needs to go on the bike right now, and one for a week before we leave for the start. Go with what you know.

Let's see, change over to something new and which could have potential issues that no one has run into, or stick with my proven SPOT 2. Yeah, I think I will pass on spending money to roll the dice like that. I doubt there would be issues, but this close to the start why take the risk?

I am planning on attending. I haven't hung out with any of the mentally handicapped for awhile, so some time with Wheaton and Alex will make me feel smarter.

I'll be riding to the start, about 750 miles. I will have a new PR2 on the front and probably a pretty new Darkside special on the back. Tires are not a concern.

I have a right side case (pannier) from a 2006 I would like to sell. It is in good shape, but does have some minor scratches. No cracks, and everything mechanical works perfectly. It does not come with a lock core. PM me if you are interested and want pictures. Price is negotiable.

Other than the time and money to set a Gen 3 up for the IBR, I would be a little hesitant to plan on running one until they are more tested. Just look at all the issues we first year Gen 2 owners have had the fun of dealing with.

Yeah, those three dials are for the heated gear, and the dimmers on the Clearwater lights. Since that picture was taken I now have all four of the Clearwater lights on one dimmer dial, the heated gear on one dial like it has always been, and the third dial now controls the dimmer for the Monster...

I guess maybe because the ButtLite is now done and over, but last night I had my first IBR dream. I was sitting with some fellow riders and Mike Kneebone and talking about how we justify the cost and time off for riding in the IBR. I am just hoping gas wont be over $5.00 a gallon by next July.
