And the new bike Honda is bringing out to compete in the same market as the BMW 1200GSA. Maybe some solid competition will force BMW to get their final drive issues straightened out once and for all.....probably not.
I will be keeping an eye on this. I need to check with the boss to see what she has planned for me that weekend, but I would love to meet one of my Darksider brethren.
Unfortunately, Team Strange has already taken the phrase that comes to mind for those of us on the darkside "Total World Domination!!"
I still think we need to get some of those "Come to the darkside, we have strippers" stickers.
Yeah, I got in just under 300 miles yesterday. Rode out to the Mississippi river and caught the sunrise from the Iowa side of the river. Then enjoyed a perfect ride up 67 and 52 to Dubuque, and then over to Galena to ride Stage Coach and a few others before getting home by 10:20 am. Temps were...
Damn, I cannot believe he is gone.I just noticed some "We'll miss you" posts on his Facebook page so I looked here, and sure as hell. Damn, way too young.
There is no such thing as water proof. Everything will leak given enough time or pressure. I can say my Sidi On Road boots have never, ever, leaked even the smallest amount.
Well, I am going to wait until the snow starts, or consistent below freezing temps before I put the bike in the shop to start the winter work list. Thank GOD it isn't as long of a list as it was last year.
Heck, if it wasn't far all the salt maybe I would even ride in the snow, that car tire on...
No, it ain't over yet, but I just don't seem to be getting the time to ride like I was able to the last few years. Of course I did take 4 trips on the bike this year for different rallies, so I have used up a lot of the kitchen pass time.
I ended up riding just over 200 miles in total for breakfast. Almost all of it in the rain, and with temps never above 50 degrees. I didn't see even one other cycle the entire time.
IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!
Sorry carver, other than the rallies I have been in and a few trips to and from work, I haven't ridden ANYWHERE this year. Hell, I haven't sen Wheaties since the Hooterville ride LAST YEAR. All the usual excuses, family, work, and all that.
Looks like I am headed for the Full Moon this morning...
OK, I know this is last second, but is there anyone who wants to meet up for an early breakfast tomorrow morning (10/16) ? I am looking for an excuse to ride somewhere, anywhere. I will check back here later tonight, but if anyone wants to get together, just name the place and time. I will say...
I road more on dirt and gravel this year with the CT on the back than I ever have in the past. I would say the CT is at least as good, if not better on both gravel and dirt than a cycle tire. In one instance of having to start up a very steep incline from a dead stop on a muddy road, I would be...
Just finished reading it, and I want to re-read it since I know there are things I missed. The joy of trying to read something with a 3 year old and a 5 year old in your house.
Yeah but, but, but, he didn't crash, or explode, and his rear wheel isn't split. How is that even remotely possible?!?
On another note, I LOVE the color of the AE from that year. Wish they would make that color in the standard version.
No, I am sure someone is going to have a flaming crash and die any second solely because they are running a car tire. Or at the very least they will crack the rim. Maybe the front rim will crack just to show unity with the rear rim.
