Book introduction and signings "The Man Who Would Stop at Nothing"

I, for one, was happy to hear this is coming out in a Kindle format. I got hooked on the Kindle when I was traveling a ton for work, and it is just way more convenient than paper. I will be downloading it as soon as it is available, which IIRC will be the 26th.

    SkooterG's new ride

WOW, I never would have guessed there was a company actually making such a thing. How would that work for say a 1500 mile, 24 hours BBG ride? I would think things would be numb.

Will the earth be re-populated by **** stars?

I just found the next project the company I work for needs to make sure we bid. If they have just begun construction, I doubt they have awarded the finished trades contracts yet.

    2012 FJR1300 information released

Hell, with the economy being the way it is I am just glad they are continuing to make the FJR at all.

Anybody w/full harness recall installed Brodie's Harness?

Cut to the chase? OK. Install The harness you bought from Brodie. No need to say anymore than that.

    New TPMS Hit the Market

I was thinking of the GPS as the third one I would have on the bike for use during rallies and IBA rides. If it was less than a full featured unit that would be OK, especially for $20.

Anybody w/full harness recall installed Brodie's Harness?

I am not sure if there are any people who have purchased Bordie's harness who have bothered with the recall. I for one do not plan on letting the inbred idiots at my local dealer anywhere close to my FJR, and am happy to go forward with Brodie's harness as is.

    Pathfinder's Border2Border2Border/-10/10ths Attempt

Tony probably has had a few hallucinations from lack of sleep, so maybe he can write the Scooter experience off as one of those. Hopefully he will not have any PTSD from the meeting.

    New TPMS Hit the Market

I wish the GPS / TPMS combo had better reviews. Even if it isn't water proof I would be tempted. It is only $20.00 or so more than the TPMS only unit. Nice to see there is another TPMS option on the market.

Bystanders pull motorcycle driver trapped under burning car

A few things: First I think it is great that people jumped in, risking their own safety to help the rider. Second, I think it is funny (in a sick way), how after pulling him from under the car everyone just backs away, then the cops put out the fire, and then they get around to checking on the...

    Pathfinder's Border2Border2Border/-10/10ths Attempt

Well, the schedule he originally had was extremely aggressive. Too bad he is behind, but there is only so hard you can push and still be safe.

    gps mounting

Stem mount for the ZUMO, and N-Line dash for the 2720.

    Your chin I suppose.

All the Gear, All the Time?

Well, I would have to guess that the helmet wouldn't have made much of a difference for him. It sounds like he had massive internal damage. Still, you never know, and that is why you wear ATGATT. He made his choice, too bad it turned out the way it did for him and his fiance.

Aint no fixin' this tire -

Damn, you caught that one just right, or wrong.

All the Gear, All the Time?

Looks to me like this is isolated to 2004 FJR owners. I bet there is a picture of Reno John riding in only a thong around here somewhere. :bad:

All the Gear, All the Time?

The condom his daddy was wearing broke! That is the only explanation.

    4-day flip!

WOW, $4K is a steal. Nice job on acting fast, and flipping it.

All the Gear, All the Time?

Well what the hell do you expect? Half of them are riding tricycles, and 75% are fooking Hardley riders and would be thrown out of the order of pirates if they wore gear. Sheesh, you really still need this explained to you?

    Pathfinder's Border2Border2Border/-10/10ths Attempt

It looks like Tony is doing pretty well, and once he gets west of Minneapolis he should be able to make some really good, consistent time on I-90 west. How did the meet with him go earlier this morning Craig? Any idea where he stopped for a rest? I don't see anything obvious on the SPOT track.
