I do like Cav47. V Stream for cold weather along with V Strom hand guards. Warm weather the stock screen and no hand guards for me. Staying cool in hot weather is important for me. My bike is my commuter for work year round here unless ice or snow is in the forcast.

I purchased the MCL passenger lowers for my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. She has not tried them yet as I am just now getting over the flu with sinusitis and pink eye. Strength and balance not up to riding yet. She was complaining about her legs being cramped up.

I agree with it needing a 2.1 amp plug. That is what I run in my powerlet and it works great. Battery stays charged when running google maps and streaming music. Sometimes I put the phone away and just get lost for a while.......

Sounds like it is a good bike if it checks out mechanically. The Gen I bikes are the fastest of the bunch. It will let you keep up with your friends and do it in comfort.

I used a stiff brush to loosen up the gunk and then blew it out several times with my leaf blower. The pipes required cleaning once they were out. Finished up the bike yesterday. She started right up and purred like a kitten. Chain noise is gone. Power is back and I am a happy owner.
