New Aux rack for Gen2/3 Givi SR357 owners

When slabbing, cruise control on and feet on the hwy pegs, I for example only use one hand to hold the bars so can relax and lean back.

New Aux rack for Gen2/3 Givi SR357 owners

Garry this looks like another great product I have a few quick questions: 1. Do you have a general idea of the weight capacity of this rack? 2. Does it sit over the seat but just above so as not to damage it? 3. It looks like this rack should also bolt up to the standard Givi SR357 rack...

Fuel injection/throttle issues in hot weather

I would not stop at just removing the charcoal canister, rip out the whole PAIR system, it's useless crap. A forum member (08FJR4ME) from WYNPRO makes very nice block off plates for a nice and uncluttered look and access to your engine or you can leave the existing covers and just block off the...

    FJR Mileage Milestones

My bad, I thought there was some sort of "rule" to say that just because you swapped the engine the mileage on the bike was reset. That was my point that as far as I'm concerned it's a package deal, i.e. the motor is just one part of the bike which, like many other parts will need...

    FJR Mileage Milestones

Why "new math", the engine is just one part of the bike, there's a whole lot more to keeping a high mileage bike running than just the engine. I'm sticking with my math

    FJR Mileage Milestones

Ross, the original engine died at 213k, the replacement engine supposedly had 11k on it when I bought it, so it now has an additional 26k miles on (total: 37k miles).

    FJR Mileage Milestones

Peggy-Sue, the mighty FJR has reached another milestone, the first Gen 2 FJR in the World to reach 250,000 miles (400,000 km). It seems like only yesterday that she was also the first Gen 2 FJR in the World to hit 200,000 miles (320,000 km) - how time flies when you're having fun. Looking...

    Boots..what are YOU wearing?

SIDI Armada, accept no substitute. These are waterproof and breathable Gortex, super comfortable even on a road bike and for walking around in, while still offering great protection. I always keep the plastic side stiffeners on, since they don't detract from the comfort of these awesome boots...

    Garauld tail cones

LOL, you got to be quicker than that to keep track of me Ross :) I moved back to Sydney in Nov 2016. I ran out of roads to ride in Japan, as you can see from my GPS track log :)

    Garauld tail cones

Hi TripperMike, I have a NV address if that's easier for you, but if you don't mind checking the price for direct shipping to Sydney, NSW 2211 Australia that would probably be a cheaper option for me. My US mailbox address: Minden, NV 89423-8601

    Garauld tail cones

I'm looking to buy a pair of Garauld tail cones if anyone might have a set or would consider parting with theirs. Ideally Silver, but will take any finish. Thanks.

    Zumo and BaseCamp Compatibility

Agreed that Garmin is a ****** company and seriously overcharge for their devices. Unfortunately there really is no suitable competitor product. That said, I am a little confused with your comment about using an SD card, even the old Zumo 550 can hand up to an 8GB SD card. The price of a...

    Frame Sliders

Angus I don't if you've ever seen just how much damage happens to the FJR plastics from even a stationary drop, if you have you'd be looking to get the MC Enterprises Canyon Cages crash guards front and back and sliders

Real Time Industries light brackets on Gen III

It's a real shame that nobody makes the Skyway aux lights brackets, these were by far the best. I have been using mine with the Baja HIDs for the past nine years and hope they will last the life of the bike since all the other brackets out there don't come close...

    No Headlights

I agree with Ross and would swap out both headlight relays or at the very least the main one. As I mentioned in my earlier post my experience with this kind of problem has been that the relay contacts are starting to wear/burn, thus decreasing the contact area, which in turn causes them to heat...
