Yeah I know better! But, the bike has 80k on it and this is the first time there has been any oil at the weep hole! I have done the JB Weld before but got a local guy to redo all the welds for 75 bucks. OK- i'm drawing a blank... Ct's? :huh:

Hi all- I'm in riding the '06. I have a spare rear rim and like Matt will mount it with a ME880. Front will probably be a PR2 and will do the whole rally. This time, I will carry the tools (torque wrench). Gotta make a run up to the border for a Nexus card sometime soon.

Rick Miller runs a great rally! I rode in the 2007 BITE and got smoked by Jim Owen! I recall West Virginia was a highlight with some awesome roads. The checkpoint BBQ appropriately had the weather channel on- had to bolt down to New Orleans before the T-Storms got too intense. :flood...

I saw my IBR 10-10ths on the website- no paper yet!

What year was it when it was an INFERNO? I was carrying 2 gallons on the bike that year, drank both between one So Utah gas stop and felt the effects of heat exhaustion before I could refill. Sounds like perfect weather this year. Have fun! I'm skipping out for a family event in San...

I had the MPG guage recall done by a local dealer and noticed the windshield rack bolts were loose when I picked up the bike- #33 in this image

Good suggestions rolling in. You are in the shakedown phase of breaking in a new bike. And the bike may be breaking you in a bit :D The cheapest farkle is a pen and paper. Finish a ride and jot down some notes while they're fresh. Then repeat... And- Again... What's bugging you? Noise...

More out of curiosity than anything. When it happened on the GS, it started sputtering in the upper 8 range.
