So you really like your KLR motobike?

I bet that left a mark. I've seen a few pics of KTM's that look like that. Who knows what the guy was trying to do on the thing. He may have had a Ricky Carmichael moment.

Am I Spoiled by the FJR?

Yeah, the FJR made me realize that I am NOT a cruiser guy. I will never own another cruiser. I've ridden a few since buying my FJR, and like you, I was woefully underwhelmed. Now, an adventure bike......that's a different story.

    FJR Riders!...Twisties or Sweepers?

Dirt rules!....but not on the FJR. On the FJR I prefer twisties but sweepers are good for working on body position and muscle memory in preparation for the real thing, the twisties. Sweepers you can adjust your body position mid turn, twisties you can't. You've pretty much gotta deal with...

    If you ride in the SouthEast - P L E A S E sign this petition P L E A S E

If you ride in the SouthEast - P L E A S E sign this petition P L E A S E Aetna Mountain is a very popular offroading destination just north of Chattanooga. It is one of the last places around that you can see bikes, atvs, side x sides and......the dying sport of jeeping and rock crawling.  ...

    'Thank you' from Japan……

Doi tashtay memashtay I probably didn't spell that right, but it means " you're welcome".

    Sunday 1/22

We'll be there unless is't fooking pouring Sunday morning. Like eFn, I'm going through withdrawals after 2 weeks without riding. At least it's supposed to be warm. Maybe we can even find a dry spot or two.

    Damn, something else to fix!

Seal Mates work if the leak is due to a little trash between the seal and the fork tube, but a piece of plastic cut in the same shape from a 2 liter bottle or similar thin plastic is free and works just as well. Remember to slide the dust shield up out of the way.

    New Years day ride

My new tires didn't come today and my rear is slick. I think UPS delivers on Saturday, so there's still hope. If they come tomorrow, I'll be there.

You Might be a KLR Owner if...

Nawww, I'd say that makes Dwayne a "wanna be" KLR owner, which is truly sad. Same with HRZ, he was a KLR owner and now he's a "wanna be" too. It's pitiful.

    My white Christmas

Yeah, but it's flat down there and the roads are straight and full of Buick's that appear to be driven by no one. Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

    Some Practise over the Holidays

Taddy Blazusiak is THE MAN! I'm sure you are aware that he has won the Erzberg Rodeo the last 5 years.

    Some Practise over the Holidays

That guy is good. He rides that Husaburg like it's a little trials bike. Looked like good practice for Carl's Diner.

I couldn't help but notice the TWO sticker on Dave's KLR. Damn, I miss that place.

Just traded my Harley for a FJR!

Welcome. The stock windscreen never suited me either. I cut 6" off of mine and use it as a summer screen. I have a V Stream (aka Barn Door) screen that I use in the cooler months and I like it. Others have had success with Cee Baileys and Rifle.

    North Atlanta FJR riders

Should be a nice weekend for riding and maybe checking out a few waterfalls or something.

Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder if they are going to bring it back up.

Not all Michelin's Are Created Equal

Yes, that's how you do it. The trick is to get the bead of the tire as close as possible to the bead of the rim, then put air in as quickly as possible. Contrary to what some may believe, sport bike tires are fair game on the FJR, just don't expect to get as many miles as you would a sport...

    FJRiders.com

I think Jason and Dom are moving the site to another server. Hopefully they will be back up again soon.

Now how cool is this guy.

All the sensations of riding a motorcycle are intoxicating, but I'm pretty sure I would miss the sights the most.
