Why would you trade your superior Gen1 for a Gen2? :lol: There is nothing as charming as a triple. If Yammy designed a Gen3 FJR as a triple, the '04 would be gone in a minute. :dance:

I believe over on Bob Vail's Delphi motorcycle trailer forum that some of the GW guys have dragged them over a 100mph--on a closed course with a professional driver... :) I've had mine up to 85 or so with no issue, wouldn't hesitate to drag it up to a buck--on a closed course, etc., etc...

We have iMacs at the store that display all kinds of music software that people can just walk up to and diddle with (1tb hard drive, 940Gb of demo software!). Occasionally I'll need to reboot one if more than 2 or 3 programs are fighting over the sound card. A few years back we had one that...

Sat on a Tenere yesterday at a dealer; felt about the same leg reach and size as the FHR. Seat/peg/bars is pretty close to the same. (I have Russell & D&D barbacks). I don't get what these humungous machines are about. I think Fred's WR250 is in many ways superior, at least in New England...

I'd think that the radio/comm/data stuff would run off an auxiliary total-loss battery. Plug 'em in at the garage at the end of the shift to recharge both bike and aux batts. The police lights look to be mostly led, especially the forward and presumably the rear units. Not sure about the side...
