International seller of used cop shocks?

I bought one, new take-off actually. 150 dollars US plus 25 dollars shipping. Unfortunately, he is out of shocks. I emailed him a few months ago. New gen. 3 shocks are the cat's meow for the shekel deprived right now, or even lightly used Gen. 3 shocks.

09 FJR AE Va. excellent cond.

It's different for each of us, I am NOT looking forward to that. Oh, well, like I told the wife when we retired, "you know this is not going to end well don't you". LOL

    Turkey Day Flattrack

Actually, I went back after you said that and the overall site wasn't bad, I was frustrated because the Schedule page was so disorganized. 1911 straightened that out for my meager brain, and he mentioned the price of admission, though I never did find out where he got that from. LOL

    Turkey Day Flattrack

Well I appreciate you posting this. Always interested in races that aren't 250 miles away. DId you ever figure out when the main events were and what price of admission is?

    Turkey Day Flattrack

Was excited till I went to the website, if the races are run as well as the website it's going to be a real mess. Have I missed something?

    Damn Just damn

Never any good words to say at these times, except that I am sorry for your loss, and that the only tribute I want when it's my time is someone like you to say a few nice things about me, as you did for your friend.

    GA-TN and Back

I NEVER post my photo's, but ALWAYS read and view almost every ride report and photo posted on the three forums I frequent. I only say this so that those of you who DO take the time to post photo's and ride reports do NOT get discouraged or stop writing and taking pics. If I was rich I would...

what is the highest mph speeding ticket you have had on a motorcycle?

I used to work for the Traffic Department, and one of our hated jobs was to use a concrete saw to cut grooves in the pavement, insert looped wires in the grooves, and then fill the grooves up with hot, stinking tar so the Traffic Control Computer would know if someone was waiting for the light...

Me either, but I am VERY nervous about spelling that out loud.

Another no start...well starts after a few pushes of the button

If it was the relay {solenoid} OR the starter, you should hear a "click" when you hit the button. If the relay has corrosion on the contacts there should still be a "click" ,as it engages, and if the relay is good, and the starter is the culprit, the relay should still "click". Are you SURE...

Seems like a good deal on a '14 ***** Pink FJR

I meant that color bike, I never noticed how PINK it looked. Age has ruined that other thing for me.

LHS Front Brake Caliper 'Auto' Closes - What to Do?

The only thing my peabrain can figure is that the four pistons in the left caliper are loosey goosey and are being pushed back closed by the trapped air in your master cylinder, and the pistons in the right caliper are a little "sticky" and therefore aren't responding to the pressure.

    Valve Check Tips? <Nucking Futs!>

I seem to remember something about a long thin screwdriver to back off the cct screw, that I had to grind down on the grinder to get thin enough. If it's been more than 4 days since I did something things get fuzzy.

    Saving KrZy8 - Heavy Maintenance

I don't know if you still have problems with the on/off throttle after all these miles. I finally cured mine on my 07 by adding a short piece of copper wire to the FI pulley {the one yamaha changed the shape of to accomodate the AE throttle needs} and make the transition less abrubt. Simple...

    Parts swap

I don't know much about all this but would like to know WHY you could not do a direct swap. I heard that there was another slider in the Gen.2, and I thought I heard that the speedo was on the front wheel in the 04??? but isn't that in the wheel not in the forks? Not saying I KNOW anything...

2006 died on freeway on way home from trip

Do your tanks switch over automatically? Is there a petcock on the reserve tank? I don't know how those things work, but anytime something is not stock that might be the second place to check after the fuel pump.
