@replies: Thanks again for the clarification on the "PCFC" vs "PCV" . . . and the "check the TPS" . . . which could be possible, but bike has just over 24K . . . still a tad bit to go to the 30 - 35K round of fixes that seem to show up in all bikes around that time . . . . I'll look into...
