    My daughter is grieving today

Agreed. So sorry to hear of the family loss. The little discovery, Warfarin, named after the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation has killed many animals, people included, when ingested at too great of a dose. Vitamin K, in a timely manner, is the antidote.

    I have teenagers

Gardens are great cost savers  I'm about 6-8 years behind you right now and am already doing some advanced planning/tactics. Good luck.

    generator cover gasket

Another option would be to run to your local auto parts store and get a thin gasket paper and small hammer and tap out a new gasket.

SFO 2012 attendees...the list is growing!

I'm not worried about the country girls. It's the wild boars that scare me.

Just great...Shoei comes out with a new helmet!

I see no information about safety testing or certifications (SNELL, DOT, etc...). Do you?

A great wireless router to keep you online and posting

Shameless bump. Auction ends in 18 hours. I have to retract my fjrforum.com offer since I'm within 24 hours of ebay auction end. Thank you for looking!

A great wireless router to keep you online and posting

Alright.... I see refurbished units are $100 plus $10 shipping. I'll end my ebay auction early to a forum member who wants it for $90, shipping included in continental USA.

A great wireless router to keep you online and posting

I may post a buy it now price as I get closer to the close of the auction. It's nearly a new router. I'd love to get more than half of what one costs new since the item has barely begun its useful life cycle.

    Costco Kawasakis

The local costco here in TX has the same Kawasaki deal, except it's a sport bike on the stand. It struck me as odd as well... odd enough I had to check out the display but not so much that I'm willing to give sales staff my contact info and subject myself to potential solicitor harassment at...

A great wireless router to keep you online and posting

I am parting with my Linksys E4200 wireless router and have made a listing on Ebay. This is a top quality, top performing wireless router that will meet or exceed most home user's needs and some small business needs. It's not really FJR related other than you may need one of these to stay online...

    SFO 2012 -> CLOSED THREAD

I've never stopped in Russelville for anything but gas and try to avoid going through it if I can.... the "big town" just slows me down when I'm out for a long day ride from the D/FW area so I'm rather neutral on it as a launching point. Eureka Springs was a great location, but the...

    SFO '12

Ahhhh.... nice to stumble across this thread. I'm looking forward to a truly official announcement with website notification/hotel information so I can put in for vacation request (some of us work weekends to keep your ***** alive). I attended two years ago and polished off a pair of PR2s on...

    Touchscreen-compatible gloves

I've never tried this, but I wonder if a dab of this glue (clicky) might work. For the minimal expense, it may be worth a try.

05 FJR Frame sliders - Cut or No-Cut

I have the no-cuts on my 2005. I've had the unfortunate (maybe fortunate) experience of two separate low-side events. In both cases the sliders, stator case, and left side bag took the majority of the damage with no bracket damage and just a need for puck replacement and minor body work. If I...

    Sidi Adventure Gore-Tex Boots

Yes, the Adventure boots have a squeak during flexion/extension as well. It is not the sole on the ground, but rather the boot hardware parts rubbing together when I walk. I guess it isn't loud enough to bother me, but I didn't include that part in the review because it just didn't come to mind...

    Touchscreen-compatible gloves

With my Garmin inside of a Ram Aquabox, any glove works for the touch screen. Instead of potentially compromising safety for a different glove, maybe there is a film or cover you could use over the touch screen device.
