Mounting the Eclipse tank bag - with pix

Welp, I don't have pics on how to mount an Eclipse, cuz the one I have looked like it wuz gonna chaff the paint, so I use it as a tail pack on my little FZ6. I recommend buying a GIVI magnetic tank bag here -> https://tourandride.com/ Luv my GIVI!

    Sheep skin

I have one, butt ended up putting it on my FZ6, cuz that seats a whole lot less comfortable than the FJR's. As I recall, I got their recommended size, and it fit fine. It does help w/ butt fatigue, butt, also makes the seat more slippery; at least w/ my Aerostich. Seems well worth the reasonable...

    Bought another Yamaha

Nice! Drumming and motorcycling go good together. I had an electronic Yamaha kit, for 'bout 11 years, but it was wearing out so I got the cheapo Yamaha Rydeen acoustic kit w/ Sabian brass. The neighbors have only called the cops on me once! Wife/sister bust'in a groove on the old kit....

    The Hog Phenomenon

Dun got stuck behind a "bro" in a pick 'em up truck on a windy road the other day. I know he was a bro cuz he had a hd sticker on his back window. Never understood that; if'n ya got such a cool sled, why are you driving yer pick like an *******? It's quite tragic actually to see a grown man...

ECU flash for smoothness in 09 FJR?

1.) When I do a TBS, I sync the TBs at 4K rpm, (Trick I dun learned on the forum.) most shops just the the TBS at idle. But doubt this will help you any. 2.) The mechanic who stuck his finger in the tail pipe (KINKY!) is correct, these things run too lean off idle, and this is the problem. He's...

    Deer Strikes by State

Wasn't it Darrel Waltrip who first coined the phrase; "it's better to be lucky, than to be good?" I'll never forget riding along up the coast, in a line of cars, 'n see'in a deer run down a steep *** hill, right into the side of a truck. It was like a suicide mission! No way to avoid that ****...

    Smuggler

Hell yeah; spray a bunch of Nikwax on that baby and call it DUN! Take the $1,000 you save, and spend it on tires 'n stuff. Fook Corbin, they're a bunch of aholes, don't know how they've stayed in business this long?

    Aftermarket Rear Shock

My Wilbers was mounted to the passenger peg bracket (Their mounting plate has two holes.) on the right side, with the knob facing forward, 'n it could be adjusted with the saddlebag on.

    Fork suspension tuning

I thought it was FredW who posted this suspension chart in 'nother thread? Thanks Fred. https://www.peterverdone.com/wiki/index.php?title=Suspension_Fluid After studying it for weeks, I finally went with the RedLine yellow, (Think it's 5w?) and have been happy.

    YCC-S issue?

I've had issues downshifting too quickly a fews years back, 'n a feller on here named Brodie mentioned something about lining up a hole? Changing my shifting style purdie much cured my issue, butt, while replacing my shock the other day, I think I see what @Brodie was talking about. (Hope he can...

    Aftermarket Rear Shock

Thanks BigJohn. I dun ordered, received, and installed one of these babies. Haven't had a chance to ride in anger yet, (The roads 'round here are kinda wet 'n slippery.) but it feels way better than the under sprung stock unit. Now I can take my sweet time to have the Wilbers re-built.

Cardio vs.Senna 2018 Review with Humor

LOL!!! My ride'in buddy roped me into a SENA 30K last year, 'n I've been a miserable SOB ever since! (Luckily it was well under $400.) The voice commands are totally useless on a good day.

Opinions on PC 3 fuel maps

Do you have adjustment dials on that PC III? I have a PC FC, (Power Commander Fuel Controller.) run the "stock" map, also have K&N, Leo Vince slip ons, and had the same issue, so I ended up leaning it out a little. Better mileage, and it seems to run better.
