    Clutch Slipping on 08

Dunno Rich. Depending on how much low speed stuff the bike has seen, at 75K you might be a candidate for at least a plate inspection. Any issues before the maintenance work? Tell 'Bug to slo down too, less throttle twisting needed then! ~G

Anybody got a FJR Crystal Ball

Items you'll contend with are the same with any 20 year old vehicle. With limited maintenance records, I'd change all the fluids, check for bad hoses / rubber and then just ride it. 44K isn't that many miles as an FJR is about as bulletproof a platform as you'll find. CCT will give you plenty of...

    Oxidation

Yep, some of the OE screws are pretty soft. Nice job getting it out! My local mom and pop hardware store has a great assortment of ss metric fasteners. I've replaced the usual suspects with either pan head or socket head ss fasteners...no more worries. If I read it right, safe travels and have...

Ignition Switch replacement bolts for security bolts

As RK indicates, the switch security bolt heads need to be drilled for removal. Carefully center punch the head and using a new sharp bit, drill a pilot hole. If you hit the center exactly, a 5/16" bit will remove the bolt head. If you're off center a bit, you'll need to move up to 3/8". The...

After market slip on exhaust for my 2007

The shorter the muffler the noisier it gets. 2Bros with baffles are okay, w/o too obnoxious for my taste. I have a set of Yoshimura / Yamaha aftermarket pipes on my '15. Very pleasing tone that sounds great on wind-up! Lots of choices out there...good luck! ~G
