Yes I did. The wind was kicking up, but I ducked into the hills and rode to Calistoga by Berryessa. It was a great ride.

The map is just Google's point to point the route planning is open. I agree there are much better roads and I am trying to find them.

Two up to New Orleans, then I will be solo on the way home.

I am thinking about doing the reflash on my 08, but my question is will it work the same with the stock exhaust?

Work and life has kept me from getting on the forum much if at all lately, so I had a minute and wanted to say thanks for the responses. I ended up leaving the bike in Iowa with he owner and will do a fly and ride in the spring.

I am looking at a bike I want to buy, but can't get time off of work to go get it. Has anyone had a motorcycle shipped? If you did was it a good or bad experience?  Thanks
