In preparation for this trip, I bit the bullet today and ordered heated gear for the wife and I. We have rolled the dice the last several years without heated gear, but decided it was time. Also got new tires. I love it when the wife supports spending money on the bike!!

Pants, the wife and I stopped at Craters of the Moon on our way to Spearfish one year. They let us climb down into one of the craters and hang out. Great place to relax, if it is hot outside, since it was like 40 degrees inside the crater. Bring a flashlight it was dark as night inside, but so fun.

A month and a half out to blast off, I can't freaking wait!!!
