Riding back sounds like that might work. I promised the wife to be home on Sunday. Only thing I would like to try and get in is a ride around Crater Lake on the way home. Not a deal breaker if it doesn't happen.

Well, it sounds like the wife is out. She had a commitment on the weekend she can't get out of, so I now have extra days. I am thinking about making a shot for Canada then back to Oregon. Anyone interested?

Just wanted to add my 2 cents on these highway pegs. Got them last year before my two week trip and they worked great. Fast turn around when I ordered them and quality is great. They give that extra stretch I need when my damaged knees need a break. I would highly recommend pegs.

It is official the wife time off of work, so we are a going. We are leaving Thursday after she gets off work and heading to Redding for the night. Next day we are planing on riding around Crater Lake then on to La Pine, if anyone wants to join in for all or part of the ride. If not we will see...

Going to ride that road again next week to visit my parents who are staying at an RV park up there. I love that road.

Vacation approved and room booked now hoping the wife gets the time off too.

I didn't set my trip odometer, but I would guess about 600 miles. It was nice and close to home, didn't have to wipe out all of my vacation time to go.
