Looked up the parts cost on bike bandit and to my surprise it totaled 418.80. I am taking it to the Yamaha shop tomorrow to see what they feel the total cost will be.

I agree with Abercrombie that if your above 7k on your revs you are moving out and wont stay there terribly long. I don't notice vibration when you are concentrating on not running out of road.

My wife asked me which I would rather have a fjr or a zx and she was surprised when I said fjr. I mean only if you own one bike the definitely the fjr but since I have a cruiser the zx is good to go.

More power than the fjr? I sold my fjr after owning it only 3 months partly because the thing hauled ***. At first I thought it was not too impressive because I was driving it like a cruiser with low rpm's. If you want to haul red line it or near, keep revs up and it will get you jail time fast...
