At first after buying the fjr I kept putting my feet up but there were no floorboards there , just air in the cruiser position. I've liked the cruisers I have had but not enough to keep them, except the rocket 3 I think I would still have that if I didn't total it.

My fjr is comfortable but my wife dislikes very much the corbin seat it came with, I am not so sure it will be good for me over a long ride either. Have only done short jaunts so far. The Yamaha gel seat might be a solution, or just go Russell daylong?

Never was unlimited it was "reasonable and prudent" which in general meant if conditions were ok then maybe up to 100mph over and you would still get in trouble. But I now would not mind settling in at 90 without getting a ticket.

The only thing I found I don't care for so far and I am sure it can be adjusted is the left foot peg to shifter distance. It is very hard to fit my size 12 boot for upshifts. I see it can be moved a little, is there aftermarket solutions to this?

This bike already has an aftermarket corbin seats and givi trunk. they are asking 11,400 if they don't come down or offer more for my c109 I might look into a another fjr at the local Yamaha or Suzuki shop.
