Great pics! Not sure I'll be able to make it out there before they shut down. Thanks for sharing!

This is the first I'm hearing of these. Are map updates still available for these? If so, I'm interested.

    TrAiler wiring on FJR-bike side

Bear in mind that the Admore lighting adapter has a pretty low limit on how much current can be drawn through it. Not sure if the 2007 model's adapter is similar to the one I installed on my 2016 (all LED lighting) but that version has a 300mA limit on it. I used it to trigger relays that...

    2010 FJR1300A

That is a well-maintained machine. A couple of suggestions (just my opinion; YMMV) that air filter should be changed out. That's a lot of miles on one filter. I usually inspect and "clean" the filter every 10K mi and replace it at 20K mi. Also, the FJR tranny like quick shifts. Taking your...

Considering a 2016 FJR, but concerned about tranny recall.

^^What they all said^^ My 2016 has been ridden 25,000+ miles since the recall work was done in January 2021 and there has been no issues. The steering on mine feels a bit heavy when moving slowly (too slow to balance it) but I am used to it. It feels lighter than my 2009 did but that one had...

    Parts Wanted Saddlebag Yamaha Logo

I had one of the emblems starting to come loose on my 2009. I peeled it off before it could fall off and reattached it with E6000. I actually peeled the other one off and re-glued it with E6000 as a precautionary measure. Never had a problem with them ever again.

Replacing the Clutch Slave Cylinder with Gen-I

$144.60USD from Yamaha Sports Plaza online. That's about $214.00AUD. Not sure what shipping to Australia would set you back

    Hello from Surrey!

Most likely the previous owner blew out third gear and decided they didn't want to deal with it. Now's the time to crack 'er open and let the healing begin.

2016 headlamp adjuster knob set screw - help

Make sure you're still on the correct side of the post with that screw. I've never had trouble with mine but I did manage to put the knob on backwards, if I recall, one time and the screw would not catch the hole on the opposite side.

Incriments On The Fjr Temp Gauge

I like the "real-time" digital temp gauge on my Gen III. It's refreshing that a manufacturer assumes that it's consumers aren't idiots and need to be lied to to feel that everything is OK.

Do you all get “challenged” at stop lights?

I treat green lights like a 4-way stop. Before I move, I'm looking both ways to make sure any cross traffic has stopped or is obviously stopping. Any doubts and I'm not moving. Doesn't matter if I'm on the bike or in a car, once you develop a solid safety practice, using it makes it stick.

LED H4 upgrade for 2013 Gen III — any Update?

I'd replace those halogens for the very reason you stated. When halogens get old their light output diminishes making them unsafe for night use.

LED H4 upgrade for 2013 Gen III — any Update?

I bought a set of leds off Amazon for my 2009 and was very happy with the light output. I know the Gen II has a different reflector design than a Gen III but, it's worth giving them a shot.

    Pirelli Jackpot!

The FJR, being a rather heavy-set girl, should be wearing A-spec Pirellis whichever formula/ tread pattern you choose.

    110 Octane Racing Fuel

No. All pump gas has the same BTU's, burns at the same rate, burns at the temperature. The only difference is, the higher the octane, the more resistant it is to detonation.
