This is the way that newer fixed post cameras work in the UK. We also have cameras that work out your average speed over a distance of up to two miles by registering your plate number. The next generation is even worse, by combining a network of the above cameras and sharing info between them...

I have tentative plans to visit in Feb 2010 to attend the TT2000 rally. The organisers have suggested this rental company and the flights from the UK are not that expensive and go via Los Angeles. Of course in the present climate 2011 is a more realistic possibility.
