    2018 FJR Air Deflectors

I hope not. I have over 7,000 miles with it plugged with foam and no issues. Have to wait until summer to see if it causes any issues.

Good luck on your BBG. You know I recently completed my 59th BBG on my new FJR. You need to get busy. 😁

Coast To Coast ( Atlantic To Pacific ) Nonstop

Thanks for the good advice and that is why I am not releasing the date I am planning on this. I have a 2 month window and only the riders and a few others will know the exact date.

Coast To Coast ( Atlantic To Pacific ) Nonstop

I am not looking for anyone to scout for me but I am thinking about having someone monitor traffic websites and look for accidents and or traffic congestion out in front of me.

Coast To Coast ( Atlantic To Pacific ) Nonstop

Now that our good friend Tony has completed his incredible 100,000+ miles in a calendar year all with IBA certified rides I realized I need to get my butt back in the saddle. I am planning a Cannonball type ride for late March or April next year. My route in the Cannonball world is called the...

    2018 FJR Air Deflectors

Yes, I have a dense foam that I bought on Amazon that fills the tunnel below the triple tree and it does make a difference. Less air, rain and dirt come up through the tunnel. It keeps me drier and warmer in the winter. It also reduces the road noise.

The BMW's also had a little tip over ball also that most of us removed. I plan on removing the ball one it gets a little warmer out and see what the effect will be.

    2018 FJR Air Deflectors

Yes, the hole was from a prior install. No, the Clearwater light brackets do not rub against the paint. They provide spacers for that.

    2018 FJR Air Deflectors

The AeroFlow deflectors are mounted with 3M dual locks and the others have two nuts and bolts that take about 30 seconds to remove.

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

I think worse case scenario would be you would have to open the main tank gas cap and release any pressure. This happened a couple times on my 2018 Gold Wing. Since the Gold Wing had a screw on gas cap I could just loosen it while riding and everything would be fine. Maybe I will need to...

    2018 FJR Air Deflectors

Brodie, It does help reduce the amount of air that hits the body. It is not the end all of air deflectors but it makes a big difference. I am also working on another type of air deflector that were take offs from my GSA and I had them mounted to the FJR during my BBG+ ride last weekend...

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

The blue line is my AUX tank fuel line connected to the gas tank vent. The black / gray line is the gas cap water drain line. If you was sitting on the FJR the two tubes coming out of the gas tank are in the back left corner of the gas tank. The one my blue aux tank fuel line is connected to is...

    2018 FJR Air Deflectors

After years of riding Gold Wings and a RT I got used to good wind / weather protection so when I bought a FJR I started looking for ways to improve the wind / weather protection. One easy way was a bigger windscreen and I did that the first week, I bought the Puig touring windscreen. it is ok...

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

I am using high end reinforced fuel line so it will not collapse. I am also using a reinforced vent line so it will not collapse. I do not think there is any way for a siphon process to happen where fuel is pulled back into the AUX tank because there is no way for the main tank to get air other...

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

As the fuel pump sucks gas out of the main tank it pulls gas from the AUX tank instead of pulling in air.
