That last one wasn't different enough.

Here's another angle of the view of the road up:

Not in Idaho, Pants. You have been here. I think the picture angle is misleading everyone.

It's nowhere as exciting as Stelvio, I'm sure. Still nice scenery, though. I am 100% sure many of you have been here. I've thought through lots of hints that would help, but I think I'll just add pics until somebody gets it. I've got a LOT of pictures from the time I took the FJR up this road.

Definitely not Canada. I think those Harley riders were doing their best just to make the corners at all.  Don't let the foreground throw you as to location. The background is more indicative of the area.

Here's the next place: Remember that there is no pressure to post a pic, so guess away. I've got at least 50 more before I even have to go back through my library. If the frequent guessers all run low on pictures, we might eventually tweak the rules to where those who have lots of pics (like...

I was really bothered by the twitchy throttle at first. I came to the FJR from a cruiser. I did the wire uncoil. Now after almost 10 years, I've bought an MT-10 so the throttle on the FJR seems almost too tame for me now. I would undo the wire mod if it wasn't so complicated.

Gotta be Mexico, Ghana or Canada, right? Let’s go with Canada.

Nope, I am wrong above about the state. I did a little research and found it. I have been to that state but not the part where this is. I would like to see it though. I'm sure someone will recognize it, but I'll guess in a few days if no bites.

It has an eastern Colorado or Nebraska vibe to me. I can't remember seeing it.

No, that was down the short trail in full gear. I think the one is state line overlook and the second is tower tunnel overlook.

Correct! It’s on the border of KY and west Virginia but not West Virginia.  I would’ve been very surprised if you hadn’t been here, 1911. You’re up!!

I'll bet lots of people in the southeast have been through here even though it is over 60 miles from any Interstate highway. There are lots of great twisty roads all around this area. It's also about 60 miles from several people's favorite twisty road (not 129) so that one makes a good loop with...

It's in the opposite side of the country, Panman. The road in the first pic is named after a country singer, which should tell you something about the location. Also, it is between two states.

EDIT!! I did something stupid again. My previous hint was "The object below is a misnomer." I got confused about what the body of water was in this location. I would explain more but I will probably use that in a future place. I will post a better hint.
