Since Thermopolis is the World's largest mineral hot springs and that matches the tourist info, I think that will be a safe guess. Pretty cool pic. Makes me sad Thermopolis was the part we cut out of our 2018 trip all over Wyoming and Colorado.

Nope. Wrong state. 123 is close to my top 5 but doesn't quite make it. This one has more back and forth feel. Also more trees.

As promised - here is a much better hint. You can stop at this store right before the road gets good: I had to block out a few hints in the pic that would have made it easy. I also have pics of the sign in the background or the gas pump that would give it away. The number 489 is on several...

Next place: I doubt anyone can get this from just the road pics, so I will post a better hint tomorrow or Monday. But just in case - this is one of the 5 most fun technical roads in the country in my opinion.

When I first saw the pic it looked like a familiar scene near Tellico Plains, but no waterfall there and then with the mtn hint, the simplest guess is 261/143 headed up to Roan mountain. I'm not sure that's right because of the waterfall, though.  

Correct, Pants! On all accounts. They call it the Theodosia Bridge and the little restaurant there is called Cookies. Cookies has a sign that says "A place to eat".  And the ferry crossing is Peel's Ferry. You are up!

Ok, I've been slow on hints up until now. There is another popular crossing of this same body of water (which is not a river) 18 miles to the southwest, but in another state. Here are three pictures that should identify this other crossing which should peel away some of the layers of mystery...

Covid and job changes cut our long distance trips dramatically and the MT10 I bought in November seems to get all my attention. But I got up at sunrise and took the FJR out this morning and had a blast. I let her know she's still my favorite.

Anybody friends with FJRBandit? I’ll bet he would recognize it. Or you could scout his trip reports and you would find pics of this bridge along with a place to eat. 

Not Ohio River nor saltwater.  Yes to east of Rockies.
