We road on 11 through PA, I couldn't wait to get away from it. On a map, it looked great. To me, it was too commercial, too many lights and stop and go and from what I recall, no speed limit was higher than 40 mph. The Delaware Water gap had a nice twisty road through a park.

I've seen people use Velcro to keep it shut as a quick fix.

Has anyone tried this particular vest? Toolsofthetrade website says "......The newest addition to the Chill-Its line, the 6685 vest is designed to keep you cool for days without leaving you feeling damp." Does it really work? Anyone know?

I believe it is model specific. I usually only have 2, 3, or maybe 4 Waypoints in a route. All the others are shaping points or via points. I make all my via points unannounced. Maybe someone else with a 590 LM Can chime in. None of my other GPS's ever did this.

I have some other news.....not sure if anyone knows this and I do not recall seeing it in Ed's How to use BaseCamp guide: If I create a route in BaseCamp that has more than 29 via points, my gps unit (590LM) will automatically split that route into 2 segments. I am not sure where it decides to...

This is good; I'm glad I brought it up ;-) I like having the via points silent because if they are not silent, my time and distance to the next via point announces and I don't know if it's a purposeful stop (ie: lunch, gas, coffee, scenic view, end of day...etc.). I am really good at BaseCamp...
