I haave seen a bunch of stuff on this site talking about various solutions for 2 up riding with topcases and backrests. I'm looking for a top case that has a built in backrest. Does anyone here know exactly what is currently available? Thanks.

I have the twitchiness too. I think it may be a lean mixture...sounds like it needs a tune of sorts. I will wait for the PCIII and se if anyone has good results with it.

I have em. They're a good inexpensive way to have a tad more comfortable grip. Still jerky with them but, it's the only mod I have so far. I'm hoping to do the barbarian jumper with a local FJR owner or get a power commander. Has anyone from the vegas area lent their bike to dynojet for a free...

dealer service mgr said it was the noise with no load on the engine from the shift forks...nothing wrong with my bike.

grinding noise solved by different dealer...the service guy said it was the noise from the shift forks...when bike was in neutral and quickly revved. No problem...a relief.

Can someone try this and tell me the result. When the bike is warmed up and in neutral.....I give the throttle a quick rev and as it reaches the the highest point of the rev and deccelerates it has a grinding sound ...must be in the engine because the bike is in neutral. Is this normal. I just...

When in neutral when I blip the throttle fast, it sounds like a vibration or grinding sound. Does anyone else have this? Will you try blipping the throttle with a fast turn and see what it sounds like? Thanks.

I'm serious about this but too tired to go into detail...so. I think we (2006 Owners) need to write letters to Yamaha pointing out the control issue with our new bikes.....asking for a fix. It won't cost us much more than a few minutes of our time and a stamp. It seems to make sense to me...
