Moving to DFW area this summer

I'm a little pressed for time right now so I can't dig into it but if the quality of the school districts in the metroplex is a serious consideration then you should look through the states accountability ratings data located here: https://www.tea.state.tx.us/perfreport/account/

News like this is always difficult, but so much harder when it's someone you got to spend time with and kept hoping you'd have occassion to share some more memories. Ray, thank you for the kindness and sincerity you shared with me. Godspeed to you. Teri and Angela, my deepest and warmest...

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

I really like this suggestion. It would be neat to see a pack of FJR's show up at his place. I'm open to trying to have our Feb gathering here. Does anyone else object to this? If not, let's meet try to meet there (Sat or Sun yet to be determined) and we'll go to our South location in March...

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

Let's wait a few more days until we can check the 10 day weather forecast. If both days are going to be lousy for riding then maybe we just get together one of the mornings for coffee and maybe look at future ride planning.

    Motopia Cafe in Dallas

That's a great right up! Thanks for giving us such a complete run-down. Fridays at 11:00 I have a standing conference call. I usually just take it at the house and wish I were doing something else. With free wifi, good coffee and a good lunch option, I think I may have just found my friday...

Thanks Bounce. I think I know what you mean but I'll check it when I get home.

    Bagster straps?

I was wondering if someone with a bagster wouldn't mind posting a pic of how you secured the strap that sits closest to the rider. I've got mine attached but not sure it's the right way to do it. Thanks.

    DFW area favorite rides

I figure it might be a good idea to start a thread of some of our favorites roads. Be as descriptive as possible, where you started, ended, trip length, places to eat, leo presense, good places for photo ops etc. If you can additionally add a https://google.maps.com route that would be a bonus.

Family dog of 16 years gone

I'm really sorry for your loss. Even though I tend to see myself as a bit of a loner, I've always had the special companionship of a dog. I've lost a couple over the years and have twice been fortunate/miserable enough to be there to keep them company as they fade away. Nothing else is quite...
