The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

No I didn't put down anyone from this weekend's ride since I didn't know total mileage. Let me know how many total miles you did and I'll update for you. As far as commuting miles, maybe it would be eaiser to do a weekly commuting total?

AZ FJR Forum Brunch Ride to Ranch House Restaurant

-- being off-topic Don, I've got 10 yr old twins that really want to come with me on some of my rides. Have you found any place that carries gear that fits little people? -- end off-topic

Wanted: a decent frikken tank bra for an FJR

Will be attaching the Baster to my bike this coming weekend. Any pics of how you attach the strap that goes on in front of the seat?

    Idea for rear sliders

Hehe you noticed that too. For tip over protection, maybe some kind of delrin lower scratch plate could be molded and attached to the portion of the bag most likely to touch down if it went over?

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

You read my mind. I ran across that place and thought it might be a good meeting point if we're going to ride and so I added it to my post. I figure once we're about a week away from the date, the forecast should give us a better sense of whether or not we need to instead plan on a lunch...

The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

hmm... we could each pick a date at say $5.00 a pop to see when we reach 1 million.

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

BTW, is anyone else keeping up with this? https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?showtopic=29943 I'm thinking that as a group we could fairly easily make a good contribution to this effort. If you want to post the miles you did today here, I'll be happy to update the spreadsheet with your...

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

It really was a pleasure to ride with all of you today. There were a few old faces missing that I hope get to join us next time. Ryan, you did a great job leading us out there. I can't wait to do this again. I think this link will take you to a slideshow of the pictures I took today. If you...

Sounds like we're set for a kick stands up of 10:15. See you there.

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

The day is supposed to be gorgeous so I'd like to get going as soon as possible. 10:00 seemed to be the earliest we had a consensus to get together. I assumed that we'd be able to set a kick-stands up time of say 10:15. Maybe we need to have a confirmation of who is going and how early they...

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

Ryan, the Texas Art Ranch is right about here (I think): Texas Ranch (FM 677 & 3206) This little detour north: Bridge is for the run across the river. Does that make sense?

The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

Maybe a column title 'Type' and we'd have values like FJR or Other? Oh if anyone needs access to this, I think I can also send you the link. Just PM me your email address and we'll try.

    DFW area 1st Saturday/Sunday Schedule

Thanks Ryan! I guess my vote would be for the route N to Nocona, St. Jo (with a little blip down to the Ranch Art for pics) with 51 to Granbury coming in a close 2nd.

Unless you're ATGATT, I don't think it counts.

The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

Mind if I add a formula at the top to keep a running total? I hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and made that change and a few format changes. Feel free to toss the changes and ban me from future updates. :D

The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

Man, it gets even better. If we don't want to have a shared account then one person could create it then send out invitations to others through email. They can then click the link in the email and without having to authenticate or create a google account they could edit the same sheet. Looks...
