Make sure to grab the power from the tail light. You will have less sound gremlins there than anywhere. I have installed several of these on different bikes, good units. Funny part is how many I have installed in BG, grew up there! Love the area and miss the riding like crazy... who are you?

I would stick with the TM and get more familiar with using it. Works good for a bolt on and looks clean. You would get used to doing with one hand with a little time. Very easy to just roll and then adjust the throttle slightly if needed and snug up even more.

I had Seth build one for me a couple of years ago and he was good and quick, very responsive. Not sure about now... My favorite set up on the FJR has been a Sargent seat and beads. I like the Sargent over Corbin due to being able to adjust the height just as stock and it is firm enough and...

I have a Shad trunk with mount I have been trying to sell for the last year off and on... Just like you, couldn't give it away and it is new! I never mounted as I prefer something else... The good part is that they don't require a key to get into them every time you want in!! Good luck...

No idea of the brand... What little they bring the bars back is like with all standard risers, it is only what comes with the 1 inch rise, so not much with these! I do have pictures, but can't get it small enough to post here. I can email them though...

They are 1" with the hardware. They do have marks from use... no issues when installed! $35 shipped and paypal used!

Regarding the Gen 2 smuggler, I have used it with a stock, Sargent, and Corbin seats. Works the same with all and fits as it should. They do not interchange among the generations except for 2 and 3 as they use the same seat.

2 of the shields are stock and one is a dark tinted shield with a Laminar Lip that can attach to it. I prefer to sell the tinted with the lip as it has the mounting velcro tabs already on the shield and ready to use. If someone was close enough to pick them up, they could easily leave with all...

Can you use longer spacers behind the bracket to move it out towards you a little to access the switch? Maybe also elongate the holes to move it up higher so you can push the PTT switch down to use it... Just thoughts as I have installed several of these on different bikes over the years as well.
